A Day of Joy and Hope at Everlasting Children’s Home

On November 30th, our team from AJ Tech Solutions, in partnership with the Tawi Foundation, had the privilege of visiting the Everlasting Children’s Home in Githurai. The home, led by the warm and inspiring Madam Jane, is currently home to 41 vibrant children who radiate joy and resilience.

Madam Jane shared with us her incredible journey of starting the home alongside her husband. Though he has sadly passed on, her dedication to providing a safe and loving environment for these children has only grown stronger. It was heartwarming to see the older kids stepping in to help care for their younger siblings, a testament to the strong sense of family and responsibility nurtured at the home.

Our visit was centered around sharing happiness and hope. We brought along a selection of goodies for the children, a small gesture of our commitment to supporting their needs. These gifts were met with smiles and excitement, reinforcing why we are so passionate about giving back to our communities. We also assured the children and Madam Jane that this would not be our last visit—we are committed to standing by them for the long term.

A highlight of the day was cutting and sharing a beautiful cake generously donated by our friends at The Hive Pastries in Thika. Their thoughtful contribution added a sweet and festive touch to our visit, making the day even more special for the children. Watching their faces light up as they enjoyed the cake was a moment we’ll cherish for a long time.

The day was filled with laughter, joy, and meaningful connections. As we interacted with the children and staff, we were reminded of the importance of community and the power of small acts of kindness. It was truly a day to remember and one that inspires us to do even more.

We left Everlasting Children’s Home with full hearts and a renewed sense of purpose. The promise to return and make an even greater impact fuels our determination to keep building a brighter future for these children.
